GREAT STABILITY

Strong hinge

scherenlager_ESP_eng

Strong hinge with GAYKOESP provides huge holding strength. The greatest weight load arises at the hinges. Together with the specially reinforced GAYKO hinges, the extremely stable profile fastening GAYKOESP provides enormous holding power. This gives GAYKOESP windows up to 800 kg pull-out strength in the "stay arm bearing".

Striker plates

ESP Technikinfo 2

Striker plates screwed very securely into the frame with GAYKOESP. With GAYKOESP the screws of the security striker plates in the window frame are firmly held in steel and the solid hard-PVC rails.

Two-colour fitting

ESP Technikinfo 3

Two-colour surrounding fitting screwed into the window frame at many points with GAYKOESP. Additional GAYKOESP hard-PVC rails and two-colour fitting, with screws all round on the glass and fittings side, ensure high resistance to distortion and strength of the casement in the 500PLUS option.

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT GO WITHOUT GAYKOESP

Attention! Many manufacturers screw the relevant fitting parts only into the PVC or into the PVC and only partly into the steel. The consequence of this is that the important hinge bars are not strong enough. If large forces act on them, for example due to high pane weights, they can even tear out. On the other hand, GAYKO hinges with screws into the PVC, the steel and the GAYKOESP hard-PVC rails can take three times as much load.

WINDOW DEVELOPMENTS GIVE INCREASED SASH WEIGHTS

The weights of the panes have increased drastically! Not only in large windows! Compared, for example, to 10 years ago, totally different demands are placed on windows today with regard to improved thermal insulation, sound insulation and security, and rightly so. Insulation values have improved immensely up to now. But beware! The consequence of this is that the weights of the panes have also increased dramatically, for example due to triple glazing. This has to be taken into account when designing a window!
